Good story. We finally getting the Kae realising Kawaki isn't a real friend plot, except they also gave Kawaki a redemption path by genuinely wanting Kae to enjoy the festival and jeopardising his mission. Ofcourse he's going to be awkward af about it for ages.

Its prolly teacher Hana. She's a new character, the bombs are most likely spread with her sakuraflower jutsu, she disappears everytime the assassin appears or it's too obvious thst its a red herring. But it feels like intern level writing so i say 80% the assassin is Hana, 20% Hana is actually part of the protecc Kae secretly squad.

Poor Hana... But that was kind of dumb to leave the kids unguarded to go find Kawaki, the One who has kept Her and the kids safe! Her actions were understandable in line with her clutzy naïve character just frustrating because how predictably it was going to leave Kae vulnerable...
Glad the childish facade is ending, the mystery assassin is interesting and Kawaki getting to the point of his mission, though it would have been ridiculous if someone had died because Kawaki didn't report in so Kae could have school festival....
Also has it always been this easy to remove paper bombs!?!! Won't they usually explode if tried to be removed by someone other than user and before being disarmed!
